Tour de Cuisine: Corsica
Continuing with this Monday morning foodism, I thought I'd also gloat over the Rick-dickulous dinner Ellen and I shared last night at Capitol Hill staple, Coastal Kitchen.
Bacon wrapped scallops, grilled albacore with a dollop of saffron garlic aioli, mussels sautéed with fennel and white wine, beef bourguignonne in a pastry crust, caramelized onion & goat cheese stuffed raviolis, citrus kissed carrots, crisp haricot verts and a crock of sausage spiked Cassoulet.
Maybe not entirely in line with our 2007 diet scheme, but there was seafood present, so I'm going to count it. The meal was at least thrice as delicious as it sounds, by the way.
Why do I crave mussels every second of the day?
